Southdown U10s began preparation for the transition to 9 aside with an excellent friendly match vs Mid Sussex Division 3 side Seagulls FC.

Focusing on our new line up and increased Team size Southdown played 3 15 minute matches and whilst the not a recorded result kept the overall match scoreline tight only losing by 1 goal across the whole match.

It was a joy to watch with Finlay stepping up into the match squad, although Southdown only took 9 players each one of them worked very hard for the team and experienced both larger goals and the offside rules for the very first time.

Southdown thanks the Seagulls for hosting us and look forward to future match ups next season.
